If you use Jaybird bluetooth earbuds with Moto X, I need your help :)

I have a curious situation:

I am using Jaybird Bluebuds X bluetooth earbuds that can give up to 8 hours of play time. My current phone is HTC One M8. With this phone, at most I get 4 hours play time before earbuds go dead.

I've tested with my wife's iphone and can get 7 1/2 hours. I've tested with my iMac and get 7 1/2 hours. My HTC One M7 got ~7 hours. You get where I'm going? It looks like the issue is with my phone. (phone has been reset a couple of times).

So, I'm hoping there is someone here using a Moto X (2014) AND Bluebuds that can tell me their experience. 'Cause I'll seriously consider changing phones.

I never thought the phone would make a difference but perhaps. I have jaybirds and a MOTO X and I dont use them straight but I can tell you I get close to a week working out an hour 5-6 days no problem. I would believe the X will give you more than the 4hrs you were experiencing. Guessing 6-8 seems on track. Good luck.
