Did you see this
A Broadcom BCM4329 integrating Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM connectivity to provide speeds up to 50 Mbits/s in 802.11n.
Does the evo have wireless N!
It has the capability, Android just has to support it with updated drivers for the chip like with the Nexus One
It sure looks like it, not only that but it looks like the chip is the dual band flavor so it may be possible to connect to a 5 GHz link.
In addition to that it looks like FM portion is a Rx/Tx so maybe it will be possible to stream pandora (or anything else) over an FM radio. Not that I ever would but its cool to know I could have the option

umm...you guys notice the 16GB card?
free upgrade possibly??
why the heck would they just grab a random 16GB card just to take that picture?
It's a teardown, it would make sense to take pictures of all the parts that were ON the phone.
Maybe it's possible. I dont think anyone has seen the actual retail store versions of these phones yet.
Hmm... that is pretty strange. The only thing I can think of is that whomever they acquired the phone from (one of the Google I/O free phone folks) could have had previously inserted the 16 GB card for their use and there it stayed.
There is no 16 gig card in retail boxes guys. I have a live phone in my store, and it is certainly an 8 gig. On a side note, the packaging is every bit as terrible as you have heard on here lol. It really does look like a microwave food tub.
I never understood why that is a big deal to some. I mean you usually toss it away or in your basement someplace. It is not like you use it for anything.
It is all about the phone to me, it could come in a blister pack for all I care! ii
