I'll be a Pre defector soon

I have my Pre and it's a good phone with a lot of potential, but i don't want potential. I want a great phone now. I was going to get the Hero, but now i'm debating that or the Moment. Either way will be getting Android soon.

Just one thing i wanted to know. Are there custom ROM's for android like there are for Windows mobile? I had Windows mobile for a long time and loved getting new ROM's. I had heard about them for android, but haven't had a chance to really research them yet.

I just got the Droid and its my first Android phone. So far I love it. I came from a Storm that I owned for almost a year. I look forward to my stay here and being part of this community.
