I'm getting a free Note 3

So, my GPS on my phone has been acting up. I called Verizon and they couldn't fix it. They said they'll have to send me a new phone. Since it was physically damaged and I have insurance they were just gonna switch out my Note 2. But, they said they're out of the Note 2 and did I want a Note 3 free. I was like, "Sure" lol. FYI - for you guys.

was it through Verizon or Asurion? Because I filed a claim with Asurion a few weeks ago, and they sent me a note 2. If it was with Verizon, when did you get your phone that they did an exchange, considering the phone is almost 3 years old, and should be out of the warranty window...Just curious..

Not if you pay for extended protection from them. That covers everything. Assuron for damage but everything else Verizon covers.
