Have yet to see the charge come out of my account though.. do you guys think it wont be debit'd till the day they ship them?

Yeah, I just went to preorder online and cancelled at the end for two reasons. I get a 25% accessory discount that wasn't being reflected, AND my line has a $50 discount eligible on any phone that wasn't reflected. Those two things add up to about $150 that I would be overcharged by doing the pre-order online. That, and I'm not going to pay for it today. I need it on my phone bill for payment/company expense purposes.

I just tried to call telesales, and they're closed. I'm going to call later, or stop by a retail store today. VZW kills me sometimes.

Oh yeah...and it was making select a different SMS plan than the one I already have.

Hopefully I can get it all worked out with Telesales. I hate doing that because it seems things are often times screwed up, but oh well.

Interesting. I wonder why?

That may stop me right there. Do they bill you before the phone ships, or when the phone ships? If I have it on my bill, I can apply it towards my expense account at my company. Depending on the month and my other that expenses that could mean expensing (spelling?) the whole thing, or just a small part of it, but either way I need that option.

Maybe I will just have to wait and go buy it in the store...

So let me get this straight, when pre-ordering online, you have to pay the cost upfront in a sense but when you do it in the store, you only have to pay $50 and the rest when the device comes out? I've only pre-ordered at the store, never online...

Got mine in as well. When I pre ordered my DInc, they shipped em overnight and I got my the day before the "In Store Launch". It says, "Ship BY" not "Ship ON". We may have them by the 9th if they in fact do launch on the 10th...

I do know that over the phone or online they do not allow bill to account. I wish they did.. would make things easier for alot of people.

As far as anyone whos pre-ordered.. can someone help me out with some info.. can you check and see if your debit charge came out yet?

I am curious if they hold the charge till the shipment of the phone and I havent seen a charge on my account yet and curious what others are seeing.

I got my confirmation email over an hour ago and my money is still there. I'm guessing it might not actually charge until they ship... But I've been wrong before.

That sucks, I just called Verizon and this is true. I have a credit for returning my Bionic and, was wanting to use that on the Galaxy Nexus. I have a feeling if I went into the store and, bought it there I could use the credit, and I think the rep did this intentionally so, I could come back and she could sell me the phone.

I don't want to do that and, will just buy it outright and not have a bill until March. Verizon is sneaky in how they do things. I should have just got a full refund and, not had them put it on my account. I guess it works out either way in the long run.

I held off on ordering any accessories because the 25% discount doesn't apply when doing it as a pre-order.

Just got my order in over the phone, for some reason it wouldn't take my work address for shipping location online. And I too wanted to confirm that it couldn't be billed to my account. Oh well, now we need someone to root this baby, will miss a few features on my Tbolt like tether, TI and so on until I can root.

Just got back from the Verizon store. The receipt says the credit card won't be charged until the phone is shipped. And for what it's worth, the rep at the store said it should arrive during the first week of November. Can't wait.
