The first thing I do when getting a new phone is install a glass screen protector and a case.

Got a case but no glass, feeling naked and unprotected. :p

What to do?? :-\

I run naked .. I ran my Note 3 naked .. I love the feel of the phone :).

I don't use a case or a glass protector anymore either. No protector is as good as having no protector at all. I tend to be very careful with my phones but will buy a case to have for safekeeping in any case.

HUH?

Read carefully - "No protector is as good as having no protector at all."

This means simply that having nothing, performs better than having a protector.

It makes perfect sense when you read and understand what I wrote!

I always have some standby skin protectors. I got those 12" ones from bestskinever, so I can cut a piece to fit my need.

Had mine for less than 24 hours and already have a small hairline scratch. Protector comes tomorrow but still let down since it hasn't left my shorts or face up on my table.

I bought one of those $50 Samsung brand folio flip cover cases at best buy yesterday to get me by. I figured I would be replacing it with something else, once they get in Stock. Now, I'm finding I really like this case, and will not be replacing it. This case actually makes your phone more useful and convenient to use. Very surprised how much I like it

That was rather quick. I would love to go without a protector but stories like this + my Note 2 scratching for no reason scares me.

Yea this little shiny metal edge part literally attracts scratches. I have a few myself. I never complained about the plastic because it's very durable. I'm almost afraid to put it in a real case (using an s view).

From my smokin' hot Note 4

I have to have a case, and it needs to be grippy, otherwise I will be picking my N4 up off the ground constantly. I even take fairly gripable cases and put 130C tape on key places for better grip.

Huh? It does? No protector=No protector. I guess so, but why is no protection better?
