Im rooted now what

Im new to the rooting process. I just recently rooted my phone using the new unrevoked software thats out.

I am using the rom manager clockwork mod. Ive been trying out the different roms on there. I have only four or five that pop up when Im using rom manager on the phone. Im sure there have to be more roms out there ?

Everyone told me by rooting the phone and using CUSTOM ROM THEMES I wouldnt have to use apps like handcent to change fonts and colors of text in sms or mms messages and that I would be able to change fonts etc. As of yet I havent found anything like that.

So Im rooted and just wondering if it was worth it ?? Are there any good roms anyone can recommend for the evo ?

One thing people seemed to love about rooting was battery life... Everyone is saying theres is a lot better once theyre rooted but mine has actually decreased by rooting...

Any suggestions or ideals are appreciated

Hey, with rooting you pretty much open your device up to you.

It's hard to just say hey, use this, this this and this and you'll be all set. A lot of it involves some research and personal preference.

For the record, I use CyanogenMod 6.1.2 with the Bliss HD theme and SetCPU to power down my CPU when the screen is off.

Thats the rom I am using now. I assume for the theme I get that from ADW since that rom uses the adw launcher?
