Images distorted on nexus 5

I recently purchased a nexus , I am very pleased with the phone- except for one issue- When i get on instagram or facebook all the pictures there are distorted. They either have a hue of color over them or are pixilated. I returned the phone for a replacement and I am having the exact same issue witht he new phone. I have contacted tech support and no one can seem to figure out whats going on, and I cant seem to find anyone online with a similar issue. Its very frustrating. I have included a couple screen shots from instagram, but other apps are like this too. I would like to find the problem so i dont have to exchange my phone.

Does this happen with both the front and rear camera?

These are not my pictures, just pictures from instagram. My camera is fine. Its not just isolated to instagram, pretty much any app that display any kind of picture is subject to this

You have tried other photo viewing apps?

I have, and they all have the same issues. The pictures eventually fix themselves, but then others will go like it.

Can't seem to find anything about this, No one at tech support or on the forums can seem to find what the issue could be.

Perhaps the store you returned the phone to has a batch of duff N5s without realising it. It might be worth speaking to them and asking whether other owners who have bought from them have that problem. That's assuming you bought from a store.

Yea that deffinately is a strange problem. I would return it.
