Hello, recently got a Galaxy Tab E tablet and the photos I try to save/download go to my "My Files" app under downloaded and I just want them to be directly saved to my gallery? I've been searching for hours now online trying to figure it out, but no one seems to have way. Please let me know if this isn't even possible so I can break this piece of trash, kill myself, revive and then go buy an iPad.

The gallery is just a viewing app that pulls images from various folders on your phone. When you open the gallery, you should see the downloads folder and the images it contains.

"gallery" is an app, not a location. It should not care where your pictures are stored.

If your picture viewing app is not finding the pictures, regardless of where the pictures are located, you need to determine why the app is not finding them.

Using your file browser app ("my files"?), go to the "download" folder and see what is in it.
If need be, turn on the option to "see hidden files".
Is there a file there called ".nomedia" ?

Along with what others have posted, the default folder for photos is usually either DCIM or Camera. Go to the Settings in your camera app and see if you can specify the default save location. It should have been set to one of those I listed, but you can set that. MyFiles should also show one or both of those folders.

That wouldn't affect how images are downloaded from the net, which I believe is what the original post was about.
