imagine that, day before Tbolt release, Shooter leaked!!

you can keep waiting till better phones come out.. and you'll end up with no phone.. at some point, you'll just have to settle with the one you can deal with for next couple years.

i agree, for me that phone is not the tbolt. although.....i think i have talked my wife into getting one instead of holding out for merge, so i will have one by proxy to play with :) i would absolutely have her wait for merge if it had FFC.

just the name THUNDERBOLT is a sure win over SHOOTER! :D Don't want to wait anymore I'm tired of waiting

def. pulling the trigger on the bolt, got the wife all set up to go in and get it for me at 9am sharp then shes bringing it to me at work, best deal ever, free bolt and delivery service lol :D

the bolt is everything i need an want in a phone. an most likely being the last chance to get unlimited data at $30....def jumping on that tomorow.

bionic, dont care. ugly,

shooter could be awesome, but if its on sprint then it basically doesnt exist

3D? blah, makes me dizzy. wimax? blah, i'll take LTE anyday!

thank me if you agree.

Hi, I'm new here and have a question.

How can you possibly be the "Official Thunderbolt "Adviser"" when the Thunderbolt isn't even released until tomorrow? How long have you had one, and if it has been for a while how come you haven't published anything yet?

Also how can you say anything bad about sprint with their newest phone unless you also have one of those? I'm just wondering. I have Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile accounts and all of the carriers suck in one way or another. However Sprint doesn't suck in the phone department. Their Evo set the bar for over a year, and as of this post, Verizon still hasn't answered.

Sprint is cheaper and has true unlimited data, besides, does the thunderbolt have HDMI?
OG Evo ftw ;)

Hows that for stirring the pot guys haha

Also, whats everyones beef with sprint? They roam with verizon towers, are tons cheaper and dont pull phone release stunts.
My IT Director tried this HDMI line on me this morning. But who needs HDMI when the Bolt has DLNA? He didn't even know what DLNA was. Looks like I need a new IT Director.

Sprint is dying. They're just now starting to switch over to LTE. Does anyone seriously believe they're going to expand their WiMax?

Exactly. The only reason I'm with vzw is I'm free-lunching on a family plan.

With the HDMI, you on;y need to buy a single cable. How much extra equipment do you need to run DNLA to your TV?

Actually the Tbolt DOES have HDMI, it uses the new MHL spec that uses microUSB to connect to HDMI connections.

ThunderBolt blows the EVO 4G out of the water, especially with a 2000 quadrant score and NETFLIX/HULU certification

WINNING!!!

The fact your trying to find the positives in your EVO 4G shows you are showing some ThunderBolt envy

I cannot believe your a moderator, Moderators DON'T stir the pot or cause arguments on forums.

Nice, so for me I'd only have to buy a new TV to make it work? I'll just toss my 55" Bravia.

The price you pay for new technology

The way the future is heading is wireless, and DLNA is getting more advanced by the years.

But on a side note, there is an HDMI cable for Tbolt, it uses the microUSB and i'm sure the geniuses at XDA will make a way to mirror it.

actually depending on how old your TV is you might actually have it already since Sony has been putting DLNA in their TVs since like back in 2008 so sorry you dont have to upgrade that

Its a brand new TV, so I'll have to see if it has it or not. It's stuck on the wall right now and the box is in the attic. EDIT: But what is the point of watching my phone on TV anyhow? Seriously? I have a Hi Def Tivo, so I'm good.

correction looks like 2007 just depends on if you got the top of the line in 07 looks pretty standard about mid 08 on, you almost had a good point tho

to put it into layman terms, the TV needs to have network access to even HAVE DLNA

I think the Multimedia Dock will take care of this for those without DLNA though

i know i just bought my 55" lg a couple months ago and i made sure i had it because its the wave of the future... hopefully, i know that PS3s also have DLNA and maybe XBOX 360's? no?
