IMAP Account Password trouble?

Anybody else having trouble adding a non-google IMAP account? I have a personal domain (hosted through GoDaddy) - it worked in 2.2 but no matter what I do I get "invalid username/password" error messages when setting up the account. I've triple checked all the settings (imap server, account name, password, port, SSL, etc.) - everything works fine on iPad, iPhone, Apple Mail, WebMail, etc. I even set the password (temporarily) to "password" to make sure it wasn't another bug with special characters I read about in earlier versions. Still failing. (On a stock Nexus S)

Unfortunately I no longer have my 2.2 device (lost, the Nexus is a replacement) so I can't do a side by side, but the same account was up and running there. (Although the app did crash quite frequently)

What mail package are you using?

Have you abandoned the Stock mail app and gone to K-9 mail like every other sane person?

Default client - like an insane person. K-9 is working from the get-go.

Thanks! (So still use the stock app for Exchange support, right?)

I thought k9 got their exchange stuff working, but I haven't had a need to test it out.

Hi there - did you every get any response to your post re: IMAP not working on the Nexus S with a GoDaddy account? I am having the same trouble, and have tried everything also! Samsung has no clue. Did you try contacting GoDaddy?

Thanks
