Imei code blocked?

Imei code blocked

Need some clarification... When my phone got stolen,I called my service provider to block my stolen phone imei code... What I need to know is, is it possible for the phone to be use if other sim card from a different service provider or maybe the same one as mine is inserted in the phone.. Will the phone can be used? And if the imei code is blocked,it is unuseable.. Is it true??

IMEI block is universal, no matter which carrier applies it.

Once the IMEI is blacklisted the phone is a high-tech paperweight on all carriers.

A back door tech can get around the blacklist !

Plus just cos it's blacklisted in ur country does not mean it won't work in another and yes one can always change the IMEI, not legal but can be done.

I had a phone stolen one time...IMEI blocked and all and 6 months later it showed up on my Google Device Manager and then suddenly disappeared

Passcode, IMEI block...whatever it can all be broken unfortunately
