When plugged into a standard wall outlet in your home using the included USB to wall adapter, how many mAh does your device charge at?

Mine is currently 371 mAh, and I think there is an issue with it because my old Thunderbolt charged at 800-1000 mAh

How are you figuring this out? if you let me know I will give mine a test....

mines takes 4 hours to charge. i think that usb cable is really slowing things down.

if you are doing it through the USB on the computer, you are right. It is more of a trickle charge because of the differences in the Amps (?) that USB puts out compared to plugging it in the wall. Mine goes from dead (10%) to full in about 3-4 hours plugged in the wall, 6+ on the USB.

Alright thanks.

For USB, its actually the voltage, since USB 2.0 only provides about 5volts at 1.3amps... so thats about 6.5 watts...

From the wall outlet, which the plug in thingy is rated at 1amp at 120volts... so thats about 120 watts so a lot more...

If my math is right. heh. (I'm not sure if the plug in thing uses 120volts though.

I got nothing on volts vs amps vs anything electrical. I am surprised that I can change a lightbulb without a major blackout. I just know that the USB put Juice in the phone slower than the wall...lol

Any chance to look at that app yet? I'm trying to trouble shoot to see if I need to phone my verizon "staff helper dude" again tomorrow.

How long does your battery last, say with no use, screen off just sitting there if you can give me an estimation?

a solid guesstimation is over 12 hours, more like 14ish I believe.

Hmm very interesting... after a fresh reboot, with no radios on (wi-fi/3g/4g/gps/bluetooth all off) my phone is using 962 mAh meaning it would last 1.6 hours with the screen off not doing ANYthing.

I'm tired of this.

1st phone - thunderbolt
2nd phone - replacement thunderbolt
3rd phone - replacement thunderbolt (sent to wrong address)
4th phone - replacement thunderbolt
----------- - replacement thunderbolt battery ("extended" model, doesn't fit my case)
5th phone - droid charge (traded thunderbolt for charge after calling corporate office)

STILL nothing works... UGH

I had issues with the Fascinate, but I chalk it up to me being new and the fassy being a bit of a dud. I have nothing like it with the Charge. Battery is good to me (and I am a heavy user) 4G has been rock solid, I havent missed a call or message.

Unfortunately some of this stuff is trial and error over several days. Do a fresh factory restore and charge the battery fully. Unplug and turn radios off and check in 3 hours. Should be at 70% at least. Turn on wifi, wait another 3. So on and so forth. Then load one app at a time and carefully watch it.

It's not something that can be fixed with widgets or technology. Hell, that battery widget might be killing it!
