Important Software Update Notification

I have an unlocked S9 on Verizon and I received a notification that I can't swipe away today. 'Important New Software Updates Are Available For Your Device" from Galaxy Store. Is this legitimate or is there something to be concerned about? I'm always leery of anything I can't swipe away.
