Importing chinese phone - android updates?

Hi guys

I was v. close to ordering either a LeEco or ZUK smartphone via Oppomart or some other retailer, until it suddenly struck me that whilst the device should work fine here, am i right in thinking it wont receive any OTA updates to software, as network operators send them out, and none here support those devices? Thx

I am not from the UK but I think since it will unlocked, you will receive OTA via their respective Updater app/option.

As far as i know, updates were sent out by operators though? UK operators wont be sending out updates for these phones ?
