Impossible to add Google account after factory reset

Hello all
Changed motherboard in warranty (problem was sudden death) , lost all data due to factory reset
Z3 compact comes with KitKat 4.4.4 but during boot doesn't ask me for Google account to be imported
Once set up done, if I go to settings > accounts , there is no Google nor let me add it
How can I do? Without Google account imported I cannot even re-install any app as there is no Google play and Sony installer doesn't let me install anything , not even browser
Tried to reset and tried again but same
How can I solve it?

Do you have google apps installed?
If not, I would probably root that thing and slap the CM on it.
There's rarely more convenient times to unlock the bootloader those of an empty phone.

No Google apps at all, that's the issue, just the Sony brand ones. Sorry for being a newbie, but CM stands for? Thanks

apologies, i was on tablet and it doesn't have the glossary function. would you recommend cyanogen mod for this model? thanks
