Not sure where else to put this...but wow. Shop Android just blew me away.
I won a contest back in February and have been sitting on a gift certificate since then. Didn't need anything for my phone but knew I'd be upgrading soon and since the cert didn't have any expiration I figured I'd hold off for the new phone and get it some goodies. Well, My old phone finally died completely last week and I had to do my upgrade a bit sooner than I had hoped (was really holding out for VZW to get the HTC One, ended up with a S4 instead.) By odd coincidence my wife wound up with a s4 the same day (she was on a sprint gnex that suddenly lost it's ability to connect to sprints network, would still roam but wouldn't connect to sprint, after a month of back and forth with sprint she finally gave in and made an insurance claim on the phone - but they were out of gnex's so they gave her a check for $588 to get whatever she wanted instead.)
Bottom line - we both had new phones and needed some goodies...now where did I put that gift code
Well, we didn't get around to ordering until Saturday night...late Saturday night. Didn't expect anything in the mail until later this week. But yesterday when I got home from work there was a box from ShopAndroid sitting in front of my door! Holy cow that was fast! Glad I didn't opt for the faster shipping options since even the base shipping was here the next business day!
Great job guys, I'd always kind of ignored the shopandroid stuff but based on this experience I'll be sure to keep you in mind next time I need some goodies!
