Improve speaker sound quality?

Hi,

I'm the proud new owner of a S8...amazing phone! But let's get right to the point. I know you can change some settings for your speakers. Does anyone has some good settings for me?

The sound of the S8 is ok but in my opinion not better than my previous phone, the S6.

Are we talking about music?

If so, what player are you using? Try one with a good equalizer built-in, such as PowerAmp, and then play around with the equalizer settings to find your personal sweetspot.

Yes, music. Mainly through Spotify or the standard Samsung music player.

The speakers on the S8 (and S7) are a bit muffled because they're really not special to begin with then Samsung put a water resist film over it.

I suggest you just run Adapt Sound so as the phone will configure its sound according to your own hearing profile.

I just had quick look through the Adapt Sound app in the store, isn't that only for sound if you have headphones connected? I need a app for the main speaker without any headphone plugged in.

Your best bet is to get a small bt speaker. I got a waterproof one for about $30 and the sound is good, not great.

The internal speaker is not very good. There is really not much you can do to make it sound better.
