I am not usually an early adopter, but with a new every 2 credit I figured why not. Here is my list of things I would improve/change.
1. Battery life - i currently only get 24 hours on a single charge. This is much less than what I would have expected.
2. Docking station - should have ports for speakers.
3. Signature line- should have a way to add a signature to outgoing e-mails (gmail has this, just not for Exchange).
4. Spell check on outgoing e-mails.
5. Bluetooth/navigation errors. When I had on bluetooth and then tried nav, it kept dropping and then picking up bluetooth in my car. It seems this is odd.
6. Ability to make calls with bluetooth handset.
7. Docking station Droid does not fit with plastic case attached. Therefore you have to take off case.
8. Better keyboard. I keep pressing the wrong keys, and then Droid doesn't auto correct.
9. More options with email. My Motorola Q worked really well with an Exchange server. Motorola add the Q software for email. Software works o.k., but it doesnt allow for signatures, combining Gmail with Exchange accounts, and doesn't add tasks.
10. Ability to get rid of Facebook, Twitter and other apps that I would not use for business.
11. Ability to customize the docking station screen.
12. Better way to view upcoming appointments. The Q displayed the next few critical appointments.
13. The Droid doesn't integrate the Gmail option with the Exchange server. You can choose to keep them seperate, or can combine them. When you combine them you disable some of the nice Gmail app features. So two clicks to get emails, or one click.
