Improving Battery Life Through Switching Launchers

I'm not stumping for them, I don't work for them or am a shill for them, but I have found that switching my Nexus 4, which is running Android 5, to using Smart Launcher, from using either the stock or Google Experience launchers, has made a noticeable impact on runtime. Also, Smart Launcher auto-organizes apps, so with just a few niggles, I really don't need to do much else configuration-wise, and I have a Nexus 4 that lasts literally all day between charges, as long as I'm not being stupid and beating it up with tons of hands-on usage.

Interesting. I already get 2 days to 40% from a full charge, but I might just give it a try.
