Android Central Question
I recently bought an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ straight from the manufacturer. When I got the phone, I was still using an S8+ with CSpire so I switched the SIM card over and kept on with my service. A couple of days ago, I decided to switch to Straight Talk so I bought some SIM card packet, selected the option to port my number, and waited for the porting to go through. I used an AT&T SIM
Two days later and I can use data but there is no phone call going through. It says network unavailable. In my settings, under SIM card, it says IMS isn't registered.
I spent two hours calling CSpire to confirm the number was ported, talking to Straight Talk who said the account looked good and there was no reason it shouldn't be working, and AT&T saying I should call Straight Talk.
The only thing Straight Talk told me was that my IMS not being registered meant it wasn't certified unlocked and I needed to fix that. There's no way that's true.
I'm about to be out of $35 spent on the Straight Talk service and losing my phone number because it's apparently stuck in limbo. Please help.
