In-app Status Bar Dropdown Menu Issue

I am using one plus 7 pro and I'm having a really annoying situation. Every time I touch the top section of the screen (both portrait and landscape mode) the notification/status bar keep pulling down. It's not that I pull it down, it happens by a just single touch. It happens in-app also which is really frustrating if I'm playing a full-screen game. I tried system tuner UI and multiple full-screen support tweak but none worked out. I'm the only one experiencing this problem? Is it Oxygen OS related? What did I miss here?

My phone is not rooted btw

Welcome to the forums. I've noticed that behaviour in different phones from different brands running Pie. As far as I know there's no way to disable it.

You can use a launcher like Nova, turn the notification bar off , it will help with it
