Roms not apps, but you can't get any cooler than that after rooting.

Then after the Rom you can get SetCpu, and SD Speed Boost.

IMO, root was for me just my means to get a custom rom and recovery. I don't really use many root apps.

Yeah my primary reason to root was to remove sprint id, the rest is just icing

Oh and you can have hardware keys control your music lol...
