in need of kernel to change boot animation

i have samsung fascinate with superclean 3 milestone 2 cant get boot animation to change tried root explorer im at wits end please help

You need to find a kernel which 99% of custom kernels do, supports custom boot animations.

Boot animations will either be located in /system/media/bootanimation.zip

or occasionally they will be in /data/ (this is least likely but I have seen it before)

Edit: Sorry I forgot to add, please see the stickies thread at the following link there should be something there concerning kernels.

You can change bootanimation.zip files to sanim.zip...copy that file to system/media or data/local and that will change your boot animation..

If needed I can supply a boot for you.

i tried that too i need a rom and kernel combo that will work .....i know what to do i just isnt working it driving me crazy should i use cm7
