In store demo?

Do stores have these to demo yet? If so, what stores? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

well the only 2 places I have heard that are carrying them are Walmart [Perhaps Sams club?] and staples. With limited quantities availabe and Display space at a premium suring the holidays I'd be astonished to find a functional display model anywhere.

Side note: an intersting thing I've noticed about Android Display tabs. I frequently find them Locked. I really think the display models should have this feature blocked because I'm sure there are people who would play with them and learn there is more out there than the iOS but like me wouldnt be othered to deal with a slaes associate while they try to figure out how to unlock it.

So, there isn't really a way to test drive one before you buy it?

In short? No.

In long? Find someone, friend or relative, that has one and who will let you try it.
