Inbox notifications

For some reason my inbox notifications aren't showing up anymore when I get an email. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Open your email app, go to Settings and make sure it's set to give you notifications. Then go to your volume controls and make sure the Notifications volume isn't all the way down.

Did that. For some reason the notifications are just not working.

Everything was working fine and this morning the inbox notifications just stopped showing up in notification bar. I get the messages when I opened inbox, but they don't show up.

Figured it out. Make sure sync is on. Mine was having a syncing issue. Go to your Settings app, then Accounts, then Google , and open the email account in question. See if the box next to Inbox is checked. Mine said Sync error. I unchecked it then rechecked it and now I am back up and running.
