Sounds like a good way to not worry about looking at porn with the 4g ha ha why would this need to be a browser feature?

Thoughts?

Same thing on the iPhone......nasty huh, to hell with private browsing O:-)

I use it when I check my banking information as well as secondary email accounts I don't want to stay logged into (Google loves when you stay logged in). It's also nice to use when shopping for a gift for a loved one you live with online.

Get your head out of the gutter boys! Only a savage would look at porn on their phone while sitting on the toilet instead of waiting for an empty house and getting on the desktop or tossing a DVD into the big screen ;)

Good answers! I am glad there is a real reason for it. To be honest I don't do a lot of banking from the Web mostly from the direct apps for my bank so that is probably why I didn't think of that. Gift shopping is for sure a good one. I will definitely have to remember that for the end of the month! (anniversary coming up and all)

And to the person asking about my sleeping habits! I'm on Pacific time ha ha so it always looks like I am up at really weird hours.

Also, if you want to be logged into the same service with two different accounts (two different gmails, two different facebooks). Happens a lot when your sharing your PC with a wife / daughter.

lol... you are right... they should call this "porn mode"... ROFL!

Well, if you're using Chrome, just set up another user for that and switch between the users.

The idea is that I don't want to shut down the other users open window, I just want to pop on, start an incognito session, log into my gmail, read what I need to, log off, close my incognito window, and they can resume where they left off.

I've read your old post on 'incognito browsing', and I thought I'd tell you something interesting.
I'm using that mode on my Samsung 3 from time to time.
Today I handed my phone to someone to look at a baby photo and they accidentally held down the menu button on the bottom left (next to the 'home' key) - up pops a generic search screen with ALL my incognito previous searches in plain view.
I was able to go in later and manually delete them.
I tested both incognito and regular search to see what happened.
ONLY incognito searches showed on this generic search page!
So incognito is not as incognito as they say!
Please feel free to check this for yourself and pass on to others.

I tried doing this to see if mine showed up, but didn't see what u were talking about. Were u in an incognito window it the time ?

I'm sure there must be some way but it may not be directly through chrome. You may have to use some other Web tracking program as from a brief search on the interweb it appears that chrome or other browsers do not allow you to search for private mode or incognito mode information and it is not stored at all.
Hope this helps some. I would look into some kind of Web traffic monitor that parents could use to track where their kids are going on line that may offer you the info you are seeking.

A browser isn't going to show the history of websurfing while in INCOGNITO MODE. That's the whole point of Incognito Mode! lol

I'm looking to just take it out! Teenager in the house! Google says it will cost 69.99 ......really??!!!
