Incoming Call Changes Sound Profile (Vibrate-->Sound)

For some time now (possibly since the update to Marshmallow, though I cannot confirm this), whenever I receive a phone call while the sound profile is set to "Vibrate," the profile is changed to "Sound" automatically. I have thoroughly perused the Google Machine with no luck, and I cannot find a single setting that is even remotely related to this confounding issue.

Thus far, aside from thoroughly checking every setting, I have reset my device settings, but this made no difference. The next step is a full, factory restore; but I'm trying to avoid that if at all possible...

Has anyone else run into this issue, or at least heads of someone else who has? Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot or resolve this issue?

You could've done any of the following, just trying to help. Under the pull down where the volume button is, select the settings and see where ringtone is set. Do you have Ringtone ID on? Sound with vibration on? Do you have any 3rd party dial apps installed?

Also, double check your smart settings. Should be off by default but you never know.

I too have experienced this problem. When in vibrate mode any incoming call automatically switches the setting to sound from vibrate and causes the phone to ring.
I recently picked up a V10 and switched from a Lumia Windows phone to Android. The MM update was ready to be downloaded OTA from Verizon as soon as I had received the phone so I can not say if this is MM related.
Has anyone else noticed this? I really hate to factory reset the phone after spending all that time setting it up to my liking, but there are times at work when I cannot have the ringer on but also cannot miss a call.
I have gone over all the settings numerous times, have tried changing ringtones,changing vibration strength and type, etc. Still, the phone changes from vibrate mode to sound with any incoming call.

UPDATE Problem Solved

I did a factory reset and then restored my files using the LG backup on my SD card. Not only do the incoming calls vibrate as they should, but I have also noted a few apps which were not present after the OTA MM update. This leads me to believe that there was some "glitch" during the MM update.
