Incoming call locking

I'm having a new problem where I can't answer incoming calls. The device wakes up and rings, but the screen is frozen and I can't slide the little puzzle piece to answer it. Once the call flips to voicemail (or the caller hangs up), the device unfreezes.

I don't have any problems answering when the device is already awake and active.

Any thoughts on how to fix? I'm not rooted, and I'm not running any task managers. I'm using Launcher Pro.

Odd. Since you haven't made any changes to your phone, I'd say it's some sort of issue with the device that should be covered under warranty. Take it back for a replacement.

I may do that over the holidays. I've noticed quite a few apps getting a little laggy these days, so I may experiment with removing some apps, first.

I have several apps that do polling, including Evernote and Grocery IQ, so I'm wondering if they may be at fault.

do you use a 3rd party launcher , or something like NoLed?

I use Launcher Pro, but that's it. Plain backgrounds, not animated. One clock widget, nothing else. About 10 app icons on three screens.
