Incoming call while using GPS.

Is there any way to prevent incoming calls from taking screen priority away from GPS? My car is Bluetooth equipped and I can make and receive calls via the steering wheel, and call info is displayed on the cluster. Any time I receive a call it switches to the phone screen. I realize I can simply hit the 'back' button, but just want to know if there's a way to prevent it when I'm using GPS and connected to bluetooth.

I'm using Google Maps FWIW.
