Incoming Caller ID?

Been googling on this and am a bit confused - Does Project Fi support caller id for incoming calls? Don't use Google voice and I would be having P-Fi assign me a new number solely for use on the P-Fi line. Will this have caller id to display incoming callers and/or so that you can assign ringtones to numbers? TIA.

...adding, if not this is almost a deal-breaker for me. I hate answering calls blind.

Reason I ask is the Fi FAQs say that caller id is one of the Google Voice features that doesn't transfer over to Fi when you move a GV# to Fi. Reading that I'm like WTF? No caller id? And I can't find any other indication that it is included.

The contacts you have saved will show like any phone. Nexus phones don't automatically have caller ID but there are third party apps. Names do tend to appear in call history afterwards though.
