Okay, for some time now, my data has completely sucked! It is never a big deal, as I can use wifi at home and various other places. But on my job I travel alot on a daily basis and it has become very frustating when checking email, or the forums. Where it really shows up is when I try and tether or streaming video.
Background, I am currently on zvd running kravens current cm7 build. But I have been on zvh and now back on zvd. Streaming will run for a few second then buffer and run then buffer making it completely worthless. Tether (using cm7's native tether, wifi tether v3.1-beta6, and open garder all act the same) will transmit data for a few minutes, then stop. If I stop it and restart it same thing. Yesterday I unrooted and returned to stock, even doing a ##786# reset. Of course tapatalk and yahoo mail use such little data I hardly notice an issue, but do have to occasionally close out and reopen or hit refresh to get pages to load.
I guess I am just wondering if anyone else is having these issues. I hear so many people saying that they use the tether as a primary data connection, and from my experience I do not see how !! I hope over the next few days I will see an improvement now that I have re-provisioned my phone.
Should I sacrifice my much prized customization and go back to reborn (great rom, but I was never really satisfied at an aesthetic level) or move back to zvh and YourMomRom now that drew has waved his magic wand and fixed nearly all its issues.
