Hello guys

I am new to forums been doing some review and trying to figure which phone is for me! I do not have 4g in my area. I want HTC. I want a good camera , camcorder, If i get the thunderbolt Id get a extended battery no worries their. SO here is my question

Thunderbolt or Incredible 2 Which is best for Customizing .. ( If i was to root and use alot of 3rd party apps ) and If i was to keep it basic, which is best. I know everyone opinions will be different and that's ok! That's what i want. Give me details on speed, customizing, camera, reception, Bloatware, Etc... This will be my first smartphone so i am fairly new well Brand new but i am a tech geek to an extent!

Thanks for the help guys! Please don't flame !

Internally, they're largely the same cpu and hardware, etc.If you have LTE in your area you will notice a significant difference in data speed with the ThunderBolt. If you don't have LTE, the Incredible 2 has a simpler ROM since it doesn't need to support LTE. My family has 4 ThunderBolts and I've got the Incredible 2. My phone so far has had zero problems, while theirs all have various quirks and annoyances (which the coming TB update should fix).

Go to the store and spend some quality time playing with each. You may just find the size difference a compelling reason to chose one over the other.

If LTE is not a priority I would defiantly go with the Dinc2. What kills the TB for me is the size is too bulky. But as the last reply said, go to the store and play with each device and see which one fits you. Happy choosing!

Do NOT buy a Thunderbolt unless you like your phone to randomly reboot all day. I have an Incredible2 and love it, while my girlfriend has the Thunderbolt. She wishes she had an Incredible. It's rock solid. It's plenty fast and the camera is great. The battery life is a ton better than the Thunderbolt too. I don't do much customizing because I'm new to Android so I can't help you there. The Dinc2 is a smaller, lighter, better version of the Thunderbolt. And when 4G comes to your area, you won't be able to leave a power source anyways.
