From what I've been reading, it has problems(namely force closes and boot cycling).

In all honesty, I would wait a week before flashing anything, unless you would like to provide feedback and help developers with testing(which is certainly a good thing!).

However, if you just want performance... wait a week, read up on the various roms and kernels, and pick which one you like best.

Thank you very much. I was ready to get another phone but when I found out TER V1.2 . I did not need to get another. I had a new one The TruelyEpic Rebirth V1.5.

Added an [Update] part to the thread title a few hours ago. Hope everyone understands this new format of information we are providing should be much easier on everyone once we start getting more stuff listed as it becomes available. Over the next few days I would expect to see quite a few updates so please keep checking but don't be disaapointed if things are off to a slow start.

Actually the Genocide kernel v0.1a should work fine with EB13. The problems arise only when you convert to EXT4.

I was running the Genocide 0.1a Kernel with TER v1.5 without any problems since it first came out. I've just up'd to 0.2a today and so far everything is working just fine. In fact, 0.2a is a little faster based on my benchmarks. I've also Odin'd my modem to the EB13 modem found here: [EB13] Modem Update (zip and tar). - xda-developers. After the modem update, I've noticed that my 3G and 4G speeds are a bit faster as well (using speedtest.net app to the same server).

3G Before: 500-550kbps/50-120kbps
3G After: 700-860kbps/200-400kbps

4G Before: 2000-2200kbps/200-300kbps
4G After: 4100-5100kbps/680-800kbps

Froyo EB 13 deodexed ROM/CWM 3.0.0.6/EXT4/Stock Dual FS/EXT4 Kernel

So basically what I'm saying is those who have all you old CWM3 stuff on hand, start flashing! Looks like things are interchangeable with Froyo EB13.

I consider myself somewhat of a n00b on subject of Rooting/Flashing, however with the help of AndroidCentral and XDA( Dev's, Tester's, EVERYONE INVOLVED). Thanks to you guys I was able to go from DK28 to EB13 (Team Vip). Thanks everyone really. Sorry if this was posted on wrong thread but you guys are the ****. lol thanks once again

the one on samsungs website isnt rooted or deodexed. i would highly recommend using the deodexed version if you want to flash any special kernels or themes...

Some people on the XDA forum are having problems flashing older themes over the ext4 eb13, lots of force closes, etc. (looking specifically at Android 2.3 Gingerbread v2.0 theme from amosher13), just make sure you back up in CWM3 before flashing. TER Mini 1.8 is working fine for me though.

TER Mini Theme v1.8 <--- Good deal

I've been running it all day no problems.

Could be some of the themes that have modified android.policy.jar files or other things that may have changed in EB13. So far the stock framework-res.apk and twframeframework-res.apk's seem to be okay (Thats what is modified in TER Mini Theme v1.8)

i have root and EXT4 done, how do i know if i have the deodexed one?

Can I flash the deodexed ROM from Dameon87 over the top of the eb13 that I installed from samsung, or will I need to odin back to eclair? Also, can you explain what deodexed is and how it is different from what samsung put out? Thanks is advance!

Yes you can.

Having a deodexed ROM allows you to flash things like battery meter mods, complete themes, and the current EXT4 kernels.
