Indicates New Voice Mail Each Time Powered On

I have Google Voice on my Rezound and about a week ago, each time I power on my phone I get a New Voicemail notification. After checking my voice mail though, there are actually no new voice mails.

I went into Google Voice and my Inbox indicates (0,0).

I went into the Voice Mail icon and it has two listings:

- Visual Voice Mail - Subscribe to VV for $2.99 per month
- 7 voice mails (tap to call voicemail)

But again, after calling my voice mail, there are no new voice mails

Any ideas?

Think I solved the problem, but curious if anyone knows what causes this:

settings > call > clear voicemail notification
