Hello,

I am new to the forums and just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet.

Does the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet support inductive (wireless) charging? If so, what inductive (wireless) chargers do you recommend? If not, can inductive(wireless) charging work by modding, rooting or hacking the tablet?

Regards,

Jimbo

Since the back cover isn't removable, I don't think inductive charging is possible.

I'm not sure if the Tab 2 has Wireless charging, but devices don't need removable backs to have this function.
The Nexus 4 is wireless-charging capable, and is non-removable.

The nexus 4 was designed and built with the capability built in, before the inductive charger was even made for it.

I don't see why we cant mod it...assuming a charger is found with enough amps out....anyone know where to find? I tried a iphone 3 kit...it does not seem to have enough amps. At least not for my dell streak 7

Has anyone been able to find a mod for the tab 2 7.0 with inductive charging. I think that would be a great mod. It can be used as a remote already, inductive charging would be great.

I would install a QI wireless charging receiver module micro USB . You plug it in your USB port you flip it at the back of your tablette behind your case. Make sure you purchase according thé direction of your USB port wide side facing screen or back. These adaptors only work one direction the card as to be on the good side to work.
