Infuse Indicator LED??

I would be interested to know if my app (Light Flow Lite - on the android market) works on the infuse for flashing the camera flash.
Taking control of the flash needs to be set up in the general settings menu and then hopefully you can set from the list which apps you would like the camera flash to flash for.

It's been tested on HTC phones and a Nexus S, but it'd be great to know if it worked for other samsung phones.

I have your paid app. Had it for the Atrix and it works sweet. How can I set it up to try and work like that?

I'm not sure if it will work, but try going into general settings, the go to the LED hardware control section and select "Camera Flash" and then "Control - when the screen is off"

Then go back into notifications, select something like "missed calls" and select "Camera flash LED" and switch to "flashing".

Press "test", switch off your screen and wait 10 seconds. Hopefully if the app works, your camera flash should blink.

Actually you know what. I was just tinkering with it for a little bit. It does work, I tested it with SMS and a missed call. But it wont flash repeatidly. Or flash a different color. I have it set to flash constantly and different colors for different apps. It just flashes 1 time and its the normal white color from the camera flash.

Hi
Yes flashing different colors is only available if you've got multiple leds - such as on the atrix.
The camera flashes are always white. I know it's fairly limited, but it's due to the hardware limitations.

From what I remember off the top of my head - I would expect the "lite" version to flash about once every 20 seconds for notifications and the full version to be controlable between approx every 2.5 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds or 20 seconds - it's dependent on the cycle speed (Notifications -charging & Notifications - battery) in general settings.

I could make the light solid, but it's probably a bit bright with the camera flash, so flashing speeds are fairly limited as controlling the flash on and off each time requires the phone to partially wake and I'm keen to try and conserve the battery as much as possible.

Thanks for reporting back. It's a fairly new feature so I've not had back many reports about it.

I do have the paid version. Im gonna check the settings you suggested and report back. Thanks
