Is anyone actually receiving the minor maintenance update that was released about a week ago? I know it's minor but I haven't gotten an OTA notification and when I manually check, it says I'm up to date. Still on build FROYO.UCKD5

I know it's a pretty insignificant update, but this waiting thing is killing me after coming to the Infuse from a Nexus One.

Im with you. I havent recieved it either. And forcing the check for updates isnt making it happen for me either. Im not really mad. I would be more upset if this was like a GingerBread update lol

I got mine that very morning it was released. When I booted the phone up, a note came up saying there was an update.

AT&T deserves to be shot LOL. There never timely for me with updates. Hopefully when they aquire T-Mo they can change the way they do things. If there gonna stand out as the largest carrier in the world, they better make there presence back up there status :p

:))) Well, they may become the largest, but CR rated them the worst this time around, didn't it? I should say we as customers rated AT&T the worst. Honestly, living in Austin, I have no complaints against AT&T. The signal here is pretty good in fact.

I still haven't gotten it. I ck daily and it says no updates available.

No update for me yet either. Mostly get can't connect to servers or no update available messages.

same here. its almost like they server was on for a day. who ever happen to reboot got the update.

Lame. I haven't been able to even connect with AT&Ts servers. I sure hope they don't suck this bad when there's a significant upgrade. I get most upset with myself because I've been such a strong supporter of AT&T for many years. Great 3G service in San Diego but this weak wannabe fake 4G is really getting me down. I have to decide this week if I'm staying with my Infuse.

Unfortunately, mine won't update for some reason. I've only had the phone a couple weeks, and when I try to update it, it says there is no firmware. After calling AT&T, I was instructed to download and install Zune software, that that would allow my phone to update. Yes, that's right, Microsoft Zune software. Incredulously, I installed it as directed, and plugged my phone into the USB port. The Zune software would not recognize my phone, regardless of how I selected the connection - kies/media player/usb storage. I am running totally stock android.

I was then told I should take it to the AT&T store (35 miles away), where they can 'plug it in' and update it for me. I was so looking forward to having this phone, but in two weeks I am running into problems. Lord help me if they do ever update to gingerbread (I would wager $ it's not going to happen ever for the infuse though)

I've ripped videos to my pc, and transferred them to my microSD card, where only one will play on the phone. I can play them all straight from the microSD card plugged into a USB port on my pc, but when I install the card into the phone, after the media scan, all show up, but only one is playable. All were ripped using the same settings from the same program.

I have very poor signal quality in my area (1 or 2 bars) despite being less than a mile from the AT&T cell tower. According to AT&T, the signal strength in my area is just fine. When I drive within a few hundred yards of the tower, the signal becomes stronger, and I get 5 bars. Conversely, within a few hundred yards of passing said tower, I go back down to 1 or 2 bars. Often times no one in my family (4 lines) can make a call from inside our home, we have to step outside.

The solution I was offered for the signal issue is to purchase the infamous 'micro cell' so I can call over WiFi. So I need to shell out even more of my money to purchase something that I should already be receiving.

In retrospect, I regret choosing AT&T as my carrier. I originally signed up with cingular, it was that long ago. Promise after promise of upgrades and better service as they upgraded never materialized. Sadly, I made the mistake of renewing the contract for another 2 years. Rest assured, I will not renew again, and will go with another carrier. If I could buy out each phones' contract, I would, but in this Oconomy, I don't have a spare $1200 to do so.

Everyone's situation is different, as I am sure there are folks who are satisfied with their service. I didn't intend this to be a rant, and I am fairly laid back, but can only take so much Bravo Sierra. There are more issues I've had, above is only a sample.

Thanks for listening!

Sorry to hear about your trials with AT&T and the device itself. I, too, would not really be willing to settle for "one or two" bars as my default reception. That is big time BS. If you do decide to throw in the towel, there are a couple of cell phone contract swapping sites. The one I would pseudo-recommend is cellswapper.com ... I have not used it, but a good friend has and it resulted in his getting out of his current contract without spending beaucoup bucks.

I would love to get our phones updated, but ever since they pushed this update our phones just come back as can't connect to att servers or once said no update available. Its starting to make me miss the over the computer iphone updates.

I dont understand this either. Because when connected to Wifi, the HLogo pops up and transfers information also. So I dont see how it wont update with Wifi on?
