Initial thoughts

I see mine go from 4.30am until 11th ish when I go to bed easily. Usually got around 20%?25% left. That's with average usage I guess. I've had the phone since April 19th and usage varies. Sometimes 3 hours screen time and sometimes 5 hours plus. It's always made it through the day on one charge so far.

Considering this phone, but never purchased an out of contract phone. Should it be as simple as popping my AT&T Sim in and all is good?

Any thoughts without making me feel like a complete moron appreciated:)

Yes, you can pop in your sim but you'll probably also need to type in the APN settings for AT&T which is pretty simple. Just Google for the settings & instructions. You're not a moron!

ETA: oops, the sim you have right now may not be the same size as the Xperia takes. There are adaptors (but sometimes that works out badly) to use with a cut down card. But if the sim is already the same size, no problems at all.

Thanks. My GS3 uses a micro sim, which I believe is the same as the xperia?

I asked in another thread, but it looks like the phone is $579 at sony and $539 from never msrp on ebay. For $40 I wonder if its worth purchasing direct through Sony for peace of mind? Sorry, I can't add links since I'm a noob.

Cheers

Yup, looks like the Z2 takes a micro sim. If it were me, I'd buy direct from Sony. You never know how the warranty or whatever might be affected otherwise. Plus, even if it made no difference, I still just would. But if it makes no actual difference to anything, that's your call. :-)
