Input method and orientation

Is there a way to set the input method on the Fascinate so that if I have the phone in landscape it uses the Android Keyboard and uses Swype in portrait automatically?

Not that I know of, but I like that idea. You probably already know but just in case... You can just long press in the text area to select a different input method. I do like your idea though.
