Input method switching from Swype?

Anyone else have an issue where your phone randomly reverts to the default input method instead of Swype? Quite often, I will wake my phone up to find that when I go to enter text, Swype is no longer my input method. I have to go back in to the settings to change it again.

I've had mine switch from the default back to Swype. I don't like Swype it might just be me, idk. But yeah.

If you clear your RAM it might switch the input back to default.

I clear my ram from time to time, but it seems to change without me doing anything. Oh well.

I know it is an old thread but I ran across it while searching for another problem and thought I would answer it in case other people with the issue end up finding it...

I had this happening to me and the reason is that swype was installed on my SD card. I moved it to my phone and the issue was resolved. Go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All. Select Swype and you will see if it is on sd or phone. choose move to phone, then restart phone and then set is as your input method and you will be good to go.
