Inserting unlock code Problem

I bought a Tmobile Note 5, I put an unaccepted sim card, but no pop up to insert the code appear.

Only appear a pop up to try to unlock if the phone is full paid.

Any help? maybe a secret code to access to the menu to unlock it.

When I unlocked my note 3, the t mobile rep said to use a sim card that was not a tmobile card. Did you do that?

As soon as my phone plan was paid off and that my phone was purchased outright, they gave me a code to unlock the phone.
