I bought my Inspire on day one and let me tell you guys how much I love this device. Unfortunately my job can leave me separated from a power supply to recharge this bad boy. I am considering using both devices. I would like to use my blackberry 9700 on days that I know I will be away from a power supply. Do you guys know if my bill will go crazy or if something will get f**ked up if i switch out my sim cards on the regular? I am not expecting to use full functionality of BIS/BES throughout the day. Thoughts?

There won't be much of an issue if you switch out SIM cards, but I would suggest you keep the BlackBerry data plan as the primary so that you can keep your BIS/BES without issue. Everything else should be fine.

And, best thing about this is you can transfer contacts and SMS messages to the Inspire from the BB with using a bluetooth device.

How about getting a second battery and swap it when you run low? Easier than dealing with the SIM card.

I actually thought about that. but my battery door is exceptionally hard to open. the guy at AT&T needed to take out a tool kit to open it.

I just purchased an extended battery for my inspire yesterday that is 1600mAH. It will ship on the 10th, so i dont know how it will turn out but it might be an option for you.

True, not very easy but I use a small screwdriver and it works. Remember, to change the SIM card you also have to open the other cover.
For me changing the battery is a better solution because I do not need to set everything up when I change the phone.

I got those 1600mAh batteries on eBay from China. They are marginally better.

Made in China. Here is the link:
2 1500mAh Li-ion Battery+Charger For HTC INSPIRE 4G New - eBay (item 270706873231 end time Mar-17-11 04:37:08 PDT)
It say 1500, but when you get it is says on the battery 1600.

Yea, i am talking about a different battery all together. Here is the link to my thread with this battery. I do plan on puting up a review on it once i get it with a yay or nah on it.

Will do. I have been looking for a new battery for this bad boy to get through the day more comfortably. I know not to expect such an increase like i did with my evos 3500 battery. But i should still a increase of at least 20-30%

What do you guys think about this? Do you think that if I were to switch my data plan to blackberry and use the inspire 4g would my data plan work when using the blackberry? I am considering using both phones simultaneously. Thoughts?

If you are using the enterprise data plan, you will have to call att each time to get it provisioned correctly ao you wont have any problems. But if you are not, it should work just fine.
