Instagram restarts my phone

[AC Question]

When I go to use the Instagram app it says the file is corrupted and I need to uninstall it and then install it again, When I go to uninstall it it turns my phone off and then restarts it. I have tried to delete it off my device using both the play store method and the clear cache method but it still restarts it, Help, I don't want to restart my whole phone (
