install cyanogenmod in Dinc.?

i watched this video,
Flash Cyanogen Mod 7 Rom on your Droid Incredible - YouTube

and
clicked flash clockwork mod recovery,

error message popped up,
"an error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands!"

any help?

Have you rooted your Dinc yet? You will need to do that first, if you have not done so already.

Also, let's not forget that you will have to downgrade back to Froyo if you took the Gingerbread update earlier.

i have rooted my Dinc....hum..almost a year ago....with unrevoked....diego method did not work for me..

Have you rooted your Dinc yet? You will need to do that first, if you have not done so already.

I'm confused. If you used Unrevoked, you should already have ClockWorkMod.

i went to Hboot,

highlighted recovery, and pressed power button,
and screen goes,

clockworkmod recovery v2.5.1.2,


i formatted sd card because someone replied to my thread, and said to follow instructions.
please look at #11.

is this why rom manger does not work?

i like to upgrade to cyanogen9.
