Installation Aborted

I Have been trying to install ROMs and even super wipe, and every time I go to install it in Recovery I get Installation Aborted. What can I do to fix this?

Are you flashing them via clockwork recovery? If so, are you choosing to flash a zip from sd card?

I am just going into recovery and trying just to flash super wipe, and getting Installation Aborted. I have always tried 2 ROMs and get the same thing

It appears that I just need to download straight from the phone. hmm hope thats the problem

Are you sure you have the entire, uncorrupted file on your phone? If the ROM you're trying to flash is corrupted or not complete, the installation will often abort itself.

I tried Super Wipe, and 2 ROMs, so I guess there is a slight chance they all were corrupted? Seems crazy though.

Perhaps your downloads got interrupted and cut short without you knowing it. It's happened to me a couple of times in the past. Are you downloading the ROM to your phone or to the computer? I have more problems downloading large files like ROMs directly to my phone than I do to my computer, so I always download directly to my computer and transfer the file to my phone.

I have no idea what Super Wipe is.

I was downloading to my computer then transferring over. Sounds like I'm opposite of you haha.

I get that from time to time if i try to install a ROM using ROM Manager on the Gnex.
If I do it manually in recovery though, i'm OK
