Installed an app which then doesn't appear

[Android Central Question]

I installed an app from an old APK on my new Nokia 7.1, I clicked open after it installed and it said that the app is not available in my country, I proceeded to uninstall it but I can't find it anywhere, not on home, not even in settings. I tried to install the APK again and it showed that it's already installed, as it was trying to update it. How do I uninstall it?

Welcome to Android Central! You're looking in Settings>Apps? Tap Menu>Show System in that menu, and look carefully through all of the items, including the ones that start with "com." in case there was something odd about the installation.
