Installed Legendary Rom - Notification Light Not Working

Well, as the title says (after many hours) I managed to install (aka flash?) the Legendary Rom on my phone. At first I was having problems with it, but the kinks seem to have worked themselves out. At the moment, the only problem I seem to still be having is in regards to the notification light. It no longer flashes when I have texts/emails/missed calls, nor does it turn red while charging, or blue when it is fully charged. Is there anything I can do to enable this?

Thanks

Hadn't noticed that. I would imagine that its one of the mods, with some setting deep in the ROM that we haven't found yet...

Sorry to hear Pugsly but I'm running Legendary ROM myself and my notification light works for me. Did you do a clean install or just flashed without wiping everything clean?

I actually followed qbking's youtube video while doing the install, and he had said to wipe everything, so that's what I did. I think it may be the charger because it's been acting up (I ordered a new one over a week ago, still waiting!) by only charging when the phone is laying flat on it's back, and whenever I lay the phone down after connecting it, it vibrates very loudly. So maybe they're related. Unfortunately I don't know anyone else with an Epic, so I can't test that out until I receive my new charger.

It's good to hear that it's not just part of the ROM, I really like (and appreciate) the notification lights. Hopefully it's just the charger, or a bad install, at least those things can be fixed.

Thanks for your input Groove, you've given me hope.

First, I had a perfect flash (went from Legendary RC 2.0 to v2.1).........everything is running as good or better than this device has ever run, since flashing this over a week ago.

Sometimes a bad download or else a bad flash can create erratic bahaviour on your device.

.............fyi: after much lobbying (by users/testers) the devs decided to include a mod in Legendary_Release Candidate 2.1 that is a "no beep / no screen on" when the battery has reached 100% charge.......this is so that the beep will not sound off in the middle of the night + waken you up.

OTHERWISE, other than charging, you should be getting notifications, I know that I am...........Q: what version are you running? prior to flashing, did you clear cache + dalvik x 3? were you on a prior firmware before this flash?..............you can always reflash the current version of your Legendary ROM (right over itself), and then, from recovery > restore ONLY your data (from your most recent Legendary nandroid/backup over the new flash).............hope this helps.
