Installing apps from PC to Galaxy TAb 2?

How do you mean? Like the .apk files onto the tablet? Or do you want programs that work on your computer to also work on your tablet too? If so, that's not possible.

Thanks for the quick action. I only have wifi on my Samsung Galaxy S2 cellphone. I can't connect with my Tab 2 right now.
What I need to know is can I download the apps to my PC and then transfer them to my Tab 2 and install them?

You can use your cellphone as a local hotspot. Do a search for tethering. It is a schlep downloading to pc as the applications from the normal sources are not compatible. Think you need .apk files.
If you do not have wifi why not use a data simcard for the tablet with prepaid data?

You're assuming he has a Galaxy Tab 2 with a SIM slot.. Mine does not, and his may not either.

All my apps on my cell phone are in my MicroSD, Can I take the microSD card from there and transfer it to my Tab 2?

Having a sim slot on my tab I have not done this. I did not think you needed an app for it. Here is a link to the Tethering procedure:

Wouldn't it be easier to find a wifi hotspot and install the app directly?

Hi All

I would also like this question answered. Yes I can find a wireless hotspot, but I don't want to when I can sit at home on my PC, download apps, then transfer them to the tablet.

I have no Wifi at home.

The question is: is this possible to do or not? Sorry but "just use Wifi" isn't a real answer.....
