when flashing kernel, I haven't had the need to wipe cache or dalvik's cache.
I'm assuming that Kernels will stay the same while you flash different Roms, right? You need to flash another Kernel in order to change it, right?
Same with Bootloader, right?

Oh great.. that means.. that restoring nandroid restores that particular kernel..
That means.. more backup versions.. my drop box is already full..
I already get confused now when.. I make two backups on the same day..
Which file is which.. to restore... bla...

As you get more comfortable you shouldn't need so many.. I literally only keep my 1-2 most recent backups stored. The rest I delete as I go, never going back to them lol![]()

So which kernel is included in the latest JB nightlies for AOKP? Is it worth keeping?No, every ROM includes its own kernel, so you'll need to flash your preferred one after, if you choose.
Bootloader and radios will not get touched tho.
